Gebrannt aus den Wachauer Marillen, werden die saftigen, orangeglänzenden Familienmitglieder der Rosengewächse direkt nach ihrer Ernte zu Gugelhof nach Hallein chauffiert. Dort werden sie gereinigt, zerkleinert und vollständig entsteint. (Guglhof verwendet für den Jahrgangsbrand übrigens die Sorten Ungarische Beste & Rosenmarille). Nach diesem Prozess erfolgt eine mehrtägige, temperaturkontrollierte Fermentationsphase in Stahlbehältern. Sobald die Maische soweit ist, wird sie traditionsgemäß zweifach gebrannt. Das Herz des Brandes (der Mittellauf) ruht anschließend in offenen Glasballons und zwar für drei Jahre. Erst wenn der Körper seine harmonische Perfektion erreicht hat, wird abgefüllt.

  • Gaumen: dichter, stofflicher Körper, mit saftigen, authentischen Fruchtnoten und seidenweicher Struktur
  • Finish: langer, delikat-fruchtiger Ausklang
