La Edrington Distillers Ltd. di Glasgow celebra lepoca del proibizionismo con ledizione limitata Prohibition. Era lepoca del proibizionismo totale degli alcolici negli Stati Uniti, tra il 1919 e il 1933. Piprecisamente, questa miscela celebra le zelanti attivitdi contrabbando e i profitti spaventosi ottenuti dalla vendita clandestina di alcolici. Prohibition stato fatto maturare in botti di quercia bianca americana.
Note di degustazione
- Aroma: caramello, vaniglia, pepe fresco, spezie maltate e note di miele.
- Gusto: molto fruttato, con note di pepe croccanti, miele e note di cereali.
- Finale: finale lungo con malto, pepe e anice.

Ich finde den Whisky hervorragend.Es ist ein ungewöhnlicher Blended Scotch Whisky.
Ich weiss jetzt keine Details wieviel Malt Whisky und wieviel Grain Whisky darin ist bzw wie genau das Mischverhältnis ist.
Spielt aber in dem Fall tatsächlich keine Rolle da er wirklich lecker ,komplex und intensiv schmeckt.

Sehr schöner Blend, er ist Komplex, sehr cremig, mit Toffee und eine pfefferige Würze.Der Abgang ist Warm und Mittellang, Gelällt mir gut, mit einem guten Preis / Leistungs-verhältnis.

Auch die 50% machen den Whisky nicht zur Granate. Die Nase verspricht mehr, als der Geschmack halten kann.
