Questo whiskey, invecchiato almeno 8 anni, prodotto dalla distilleria Midleton e proviene al 100% da alambicchi pot still e puquindi essere definito single pot still. Contiene il 50% di ex-bourbon first fill e il 50% di ex-bourbon refill, che insieme danno vita a un aroma fresco e dolce. Rispetto allo Yellow Spot, questo whisky imbottigliato con una gradazione alcolica del 40%.
Note di degustazione
- Aroma: molto fruttato e fortemente maltato, piacevoli note di legno fresco si completano in modo armonico.
- Gusto: carattere pronunciato di spezie, malto e miele, corpo molto fruttato.
- Finale: molto lungo con una dolcezza iniziale sottile, diventa poi asciutto, con note speziate evidenti.

Total überrascht, bei weitem milder, sanfter, als ich es erwartet hätte. Im Abgang wird er eine Spur markanter, sehr sehr interessant. Geschmacklich hervorragend.
