- Aroma: profumi molto speziati, di cuoio, prugne, frutta secca, note di tabacco e miele
- Gusto: potente e morbido, con frutta candita, tabacco, note di legno e sfumature di pelle speziate.
- Finale: retrogusto molto lungo e speziato.

Curiosità
Nel 1891, la venerabile famiglia Briand, attiva da generazioni, costruì lo Chateau Bonbonnet (ora il cuore dell'azienda Ferrand). Il Landy deve il suo nome alla sua affinità con i cani. La serie prende il nome da un levriero molto speciale – molto caro alla famiglia – Landy. Alla International Spirits Competition, Landy X.O. ha vinto la medaglia d'oro.

Nach oft sehr teurem Probieren bekannter XO Cognacs schlug dieser alle anderen im Geschmack und im Preis. Für alle, denen Genuss wichtiger ist als ein Markenname.
