Note di degustazione
- Aroma: un accenno di catrame con una cesta piena di mele e frutti tropicali avvolti in un profumo marittimo di zostera e brezza salmastra.
- Gusto: il gusto pieno di un faldi torba sulla spiaggia, mentre la brezza che soffia dal mare porta spruzzi salati; begli accenti piccanti di anice e pepe nero ai lati della lingua.
- Finale: al palato finale lungo, affumicato, asciutto e pepato accompagnato da una punta di iodio.

Der Ardbeg 10 ist der Islay-Klassiker schlechthin. Aber nur für jene Genießer, die stark getorften SigleMalt mögen. Er ist einfach ein Muss in jeder Bar.

This is the first whisky I've tasted from this famous and highly regarded Islay distillery. All lovers of "heavy peat" praise the quality of the spirits from this company, founded in 1815.
"Ten" is one of the few Ardbeg bottlings that have stood the test of time and is the first to be "unfiltered."
On the nose, dry peat and sea (iodine) with hints of cocoa, citrus, and vanilla.
On the palate, peat, barbecue, vanilla, citrus, and cinnamon.
Finish: peat on the palate, almonds on the mid-tongue, and malt and black pepper on the sides. Freshly cut grass and smoke waft through the nose.
A solid, balanced whisky for lovers of peat, which lingers long after sipping.
I think it's a good whisky for the price.
